the challenge...

Well, I have been challenged from a sweet friend (Julie). Sorry, I don't know how to link your name with your blog. The challenge is to blog something everyday in May about yourself. I KNOW I cannot commit to that so I thought I could do once a week in May. I like to blog about our family adventures so here goes..

My boys have added something BIG to their Christmas with list for this year. I am so sad we cannot get it for them. I too fell in love! :) We went out to visit on old co-worker of my hubby's. He and his wife live down south. They raise miniature ponies and show them. The horses are SOOOOO cute. They were so friendly to kids and let the boys walk them, feed them, and brush them. Hunter was in heaven during our visit! Here are a few sweet pics we got of the boys.

This is Richard with Coyote, they have an obstacle course where they train the horses to do different things. The boys were so happy when they got the horses to JUMP over the bars.

Hunter finally got the hang of making his horse do it.



The horses train to back up and maneuver around with people in these carts. Hunter and Richard got to go for a ride. She even let Richard drive. I guess the horses were once used in the mines to carry things in. The horses can pull 2 to 3 x's their weight.


We recently took he kids to the Riparian Reserve to do some fishing. Richard had baseball pics that morning too, that's why my man is in uniform! :)
